In 1952, the Class of 1956 began the very first classes for Rich Township High Schools. Two other Rich Township High Schools have been added over the years as the population in the school district increased. Our high school building was still a hole in the ground in September, 1952, so we started classes in the Faith United Protestant building which had two floors of Sunday School classrooms. We were the first complete 4-year graduating class. Other classes graduated before us because in the fall of 1953 the school was completed, admitting freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. We were the sophomores that year. But we hold the distinction of being the true pioneers! Through the magic of the Internet, let's reach out and reconnect!
